It´s now just over nine years since we arrived here. We came on the 7th December 2007, and have no regrets at leaving the U.K. for good. We spent two years renovating and rebuilding Quinta Sao Domingos, and the Adega, there has been no other development in the village since then, until now. There is a new house opposite Adega do Branco, and a house just above it has been demolished and is now being rebuilt. Further along the Rua Escola, there is a brand new house being built, and down in the valley, an old abandoned cottage has been gutted and is being refurbished. Outside the Quinta it is now around three years since the terraces were cleared and the olive trees planted, they are now beginning to put on some height, and this year had a few olives on them.
