Winter is arriving, much cooler, and bouts of rain, but so far we are at least getting some sun shine between rain. This week we have had three men working on the terraces opposite, clearing the three years of growth since they were last cleaned up. It is looking very nice with neat piles of spoil which this time maybe they will burn off.
Jose has been out there for one day taking much of the larger wood for use in his fireplace. Today is overcast and rainy, but the forecast does say it will get a little warmer, and perhaps sunnier next week. This week we visited the Douro with Marty and Ange and had lunch at the Vintage House, very nice. Earlier in the week we went to the cinema and saw a sci-fi movie.
