We have lived here now for some six and a half years, and the renovation work was finished around four and a half years ago. As a consequence of the hot summers and the wet winters, the paint and varnish on the exterior surfaces has begun to peel off. So we have got the painters in, the job is not finished yet, but we hope that the new paint will last for another four plus years.
Last week-end the aero club at our local airport in Viseu put on an airshow for two days. We were only able to attend on the Saturday, this day was aimed at children. There were plane rides, stunts, and parachute jumps.
